CME Program Held

SAVE THE HEART organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program on ‘Cardiac Surgery’ on 14th September 2015 at hotel Radission, Kathmandu. The CME was started by chaired the Guests; Prof. Giovanni Stellin, Director of Pediatric and Congenital Cardiac Surgery, University Hospital-Padova, Dr. Vladimilro Vida, Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon, Padova University Hospital, Chief Perfusionist Fabio Zanella from the same hospital and ICU nurse Melissa Padova University Hosptial from Italy to the dais . The program was participated by over 100 delegates from different hospitals of Nepal. The hall was full of Cardiac surgeons, Cardiologists, Perfusionists, Nurses and members of STH.
The president of SAVE THE HEART Dr Anil Bhattarai welcomed all the distinguish guests. Mr Fabio and Dr Vladimiro Vida gave talks on of their respective fields. Another presentation was done by the president of SAVE THE HEART Dr Bhattarai who highlighted the continuous  progress of the organization from the its establishment since 2012. The program then followed by distributing certificates of Participation along with token of love  from SAVE THE HEART to the distinguished guests.
Also, Prof Stelling delivered a speech about his team‘s experiences on Nepal visit and how everyone were overwhelmed by the hospitality of Nepalese friends. Further, he expressed his gratitude towards the SAVE THE HEART and people of Nepal for their warm hospitality.
President of STH  Dr Anil Bhattarai thanked  the guest for visiting Nepal  even after a devastating  earthquake of few month back. When the whole world has been scared to visit Nepal but the guests despite the fear had visited Nepal by accepting and participating in different activities of the organization .Thereafter, the CME program had followed by a dinner.
