Just two weeks back my friend
DrAnil Bhattarai had participated in the inaugural flight of Pokhara Airport.
Just two weeks ago this news had strengthened everyone’s hopes that this beautiful country, these wonderful people, would soon have better infrastructure.
Remembering my friend @TAG's enthusiasm in showing me the tunnel construction which would make Kathmandu valley more accessible.
These are things we take for granted, but Nepal is showing signs of growth. I am a huge support for the spirit of all those who make enormous sacrifices to help this country and its people.
The sad news of this morning's incident may create doubts and discourage even stronger countries than Nepal.
I hope instead that after tears, after the necessary evaluations, this wonderful people can start their journey again.
If possible with even more strength and pride.
